AI has great potential and I was hesitant to use it. I could compare AI to the reasoning of a child, needing guidance and specific directives to get what you want with it's super resources.
AI has great potential and I was hesitant to use it. I could compare AI to the reasoning of a child, needing guidance and specific directives to get what you want with it's super resources.
I use Artificial Intelligence, in whole or in part, to integrate with other tools or applications such as Photoshop. It is important to guide AI as a director might direct a movie ; the actors, the location and lighting, the wardrobe, the set dressing, the camera angle, the exposure. It helps to have these capacities to direct this powerful tool. AI makes a great tool for coming up with ideas and perfecting iterations.

The idea is not to be limited by the tools we use as designers. Artificial Intelligence has the capacity to give too much and be too creative. Here I was creating for a ficticious campaign for Nike. The campaign was called "Urban Jungle" and the second was for "Running in the Surreal". I found that it was difficult to get the runner to elevate off of the ground, through iteration and insistence we can get close to what we want. It is a little like playing the slot machines in Vegas, but with more luck.

In all sincerity, I was having much fun creating with Chat GPT, and it is amazing how we can conceive and create much more quickly than before. The lighting here is amazing. And this will be a good place to start. Thanks for taking the time. Lessons learned. I learned how to draw on my experience as an illustrator, what I know about visual storytelling and with notions of branding, we can use AI to generate ideas. The end result may or may not be the image generated. AI has great potential and I have enjoyed using it. I found that it responded to my prompts based on my knowledge of photography, articulating what camera angle, exposure settings, film speed and lens type. The idea to convey is granular control over AI.
